*Official* Australia in India 2023

The Australians have been handed a reality check. Why they continue to pick Dave Warner is beyond me. The man has been a great player for us and should be picked in our limited overs teams for as long as he desires to play but at test level he’s a liability to say the least. Last summer was ideal time to start a new search for his replacement whoever that may be. To pick one fast bowler was absolute stupidity, Starc should’ve played this game, no chance of being rapped hard on the fingers on this wicket. I was never a fan of JL as a coach because he picks guys that are robots but he wouldn’t have been a party to those tactics, what were they thinking?? India are 5 times the side we are because they play as a team and are up for the big games, we on the other hand are flat track bullies who defeat low ranked teams at home and call ourselves world champions at every opportunity.

You are a very good side . The difference between the 2 sides is India’s lower order batting.

Your batsmen are better and ours spinners are better . Fast bowling both are nearly equal if India has fully fit Bumrah.

It really is sad that the geopolitical situation makes Pakistan-India bilaterals impossible. I would love to see Babar Azam try to uncode the Ravis and while he's a dreadful keeper, Sarfaraz is an absolute genius against spinners.
Babar has had his issues vs spin, hasn't he ? Given how bad Pak has been at home against touring teams I am not sure it will be an even contest any more than Pataudi or BGT.

However, Pakistan being Pakistan, may spring a surprise or two. Overall I'd expect comfortable win by Ind

Warner had to be subbed concussed. This pitch is like an all menu hotel, just need to adhere to the timings.

England's avg is boosted higher by the flat wickets in 2016 series, otherwise they'd be fair way below Oz.
But countered by the fact Kohli had a hissy fit(when does he not) in 2021. After we won the first test as the pitch didn't favour your spinners. We then saw absolute bunsens that only Rohit/Pant from either side could actually score any runs on.

Dravid just said in the press conference that india will continue to back KL Rahul
I hope that's just defensive pep talk. Wouldn't expect him to come and say yeah we will drop him. Half expecting an announcement that he is unfit on the morning of third test.

Substantiation pls. Kohli is the last guy to bemoan pitches chennai was an awful pitch because it deteriorated v quickly after being very flat on day 1 - hence an unbalanced pitch favoring toss winner.

The other pitches were toss agnostic, which is the equivalent of a balanced pitch (for both team).

Countered how? We didn't have Jadeja, Axar, Umesh & Shami & what hissy fit btw - you also won 2 tosses in last 3 tests & lost on a fairly helpful surface for seamers in the last test.

Really, did you forget Kohli's runs or Ashwin's century or you can only win by batting first on flatbeds?
