Meanwhile I'm honestly not seeing a lot to complain about or frankly even worth mentioning so far wrt the pitch but we'll see what happens once a left hander has a go
Yeah just been pretty low and slow for the most part. It's not too bad if you have to adjust down. Much worse if the odd one leaps at you. Indian quicks have got some swing first up which has been telling. Bowled very well.

Think Cameron Green would have been handy with the ball on this pitch. decent wheels and hurries it along.

This might be quite a low scoring game simply because of how low this pitch is. Seems mighty hard to time the ball if it's not an outright half volley

Think they will miss Head. A 40 (25) will be golden here, especially for the guy at the other end batting with him.

I hope, for all its bells and whistles, this does not end up being a Ranchi 2017 type of pitch. Where survival is easy but run-scoring is difficult. They are fine every once in a while but make for pretty boring cricket to watch.
