Lol have a go at Ravi Shastri's Speed Dealer sunnies. The very best of the early 90s.

One of the first times I've seen Aus go with a horses for courses selection in the batting line up and not just the bowling. Be interesting to see how it plays out.

Also I would have picked Umesh over Siraj. The latter is a fine bowler, great competitor, but Umesh has been exceptional vs Aus in India and I frankly think he provides far more penetration than Siraj will, which suits the role he'll play more.

Head was very ordinary in Pakistan & SL tbf, but it's ballsy to dump a bloke who's had a break out year overall like he did. Happy for Renshaw but Handscomb is just terribad. Worst thing for Aus cricket long term would be for him to make runs here.

Yeah you can't blame the selectors for a lack of proactiveness here. Clearly they're willing to take apparent big risks based on local conditions.
Yeah I don't agree with them taking it to this degree but I kind of like that they were willing anyway.

Yeah I thought he at least deserved a go, but I don't blame the selectors for actually having watched him in Pakistan/SL and frankly even against Harmer and Maharaj (who were otherwise terrible) in Australia and think "nah this guy ain't it vs spin".
