The ones where the seam is horizontal like that are ****ing **** to take cleanly. He obviously saw it late, which is the main reason he missed it, but those ones tend to keep rising and absolutely fly. Broken multiple fingers taking (or attempting to) those catches.

Nah lets be real, this pitch isn't really "going" anywhere, this pitch is a lot truer than the last 3, the difference has been that our pacers give away too many loose deliveries when they bowl whereas the Aussie pacers don't give away anything.

Yea this track, given what I've seen so far, looks a lot flatter and truer than the earlier ones. Not much uneven bounce happening, good pace and carry.

Makes for compelling viewing for this innings IMO - the aussie pacers will like in and the Indian batsmen will like it too. Something in it for both of them.

A slow grind is perfectly acceptable. We need a platform and a big first innings score. 300 isn't bad but it is a bit of a missed chance
