It also comes down to the kind of pitch it is guys, if it starts to take turn then Kuldeep might not be a bad option, I guess India feel that the Australian batsmen have gotten use to Jadeja / Ashwin and their bowling styles so Kuldeep might just pick a few based on his relative mystery.

Rahane has to deliver in this test. Seems a little pacier than the other 3 so it'll suit him. Would've suited Kohli too but the **** wimped out.

Three spinners is just unnecessary. Three seamers or another batsman would be much more useful.

Last time Australia faced a left-arm wrist spinner they were pretty bad I guess? All I can really think of - they expect spinners to be the main threat, which is fair enough, and want some more variety in the spin attack.

yeah what's made aus so successful against jadejash is the robust plans. a new bloke bowling a totally different style is a good chance to throw them off balance.

I don't know much about this guy and if the selectors feel he will contribute, then fair enough. But it should be in place of a spinner - you can't be afraid to drop people. This is just a backhanded way of saying you don't have faith in your frontline spinners and it's a stupid way to go about it because you're just going to weaken he whole team.
