***Official*** Australia in India 2017

Victor Ian

International Coach
when did the australian psyche become so piss weak?

all this bitching and complaining about pitches is an absolute embarrassment. it just reeks of a complete lack of confidence in their own ability and engineering a ready made excuse.

winning overseas is all about overcoming the odds and alien conditions and its not like india get a different pitch rolled out when its their turn to bat.
Who's complaining about the pitch? I haven't noticed any Aussies doing this in any seriousness.

Haven't heard anyone apart from Lehman say anything derogatory about the decks. Smith said a couple aren't like anything he's seen before but that's been about it afaik. I think their approach to the conditions has been better than in the past tbh.

Virat, how nice to see you on our humble forum.

People are awfully eager to pile onto the Aus team for some reason given that literally no one else has been particularly competitive in India over the course of multiple Tests in, well, quite a while.

When asked if it was "appropriate for an international captain make serious allegations like that and not produce evidence to substantiate it", Kohli replied: "What were the allegations?" Pressed further by the journalist, Kohli wanted to know "what is the allegation called", adding that since he was not charged with any violation, what he had said could not be termed an allegation. "Because it has to be called something for me to be questioning something about someone to call it an allegation," he said. "If no charges were pressed against me, how are those allegations?

What? That makes absolutely no sense. He looks like a fool and a lier. Let's hope it's a lesson not to make claims he's unable to substantiate or stand behind in future.

I've read that three times and have no idea what he's trying to say. Is he claiming that the ICC not charging him means that he didn't accuse Aus of doing anything?

in before Victor Ian claims Kohli's statement will confuse the Aussies, causing them to obsess over it and not read Jaddu's arm ball.

Yeah that's what I think he's saying as well. I also get the feeling he thinks he's pulled a fast one by not using the word 'cheat'.

Why do ****wits like him have to be so good at cricket. ugh.

Kohi will make a good politician. You ask him what two plus two is and he'll tell you how great a number 7 is. Has a knack of wiggling out with absolute non-sense. I mean I have no idea what he's trying to say here and I suspect he got away with it because the journalist was busy evaluating his life choices that he had to listen to babytalk like that.

It's probably the same as Smith being so good but so devoid of social skills. Their brain has plenty of room to think about cricket without all that other stuff clogging it up.

No, he'd be a terrible politician but would get elected because he is good at cricket e.g. Navjot Singh Sidhu

It's likely because they've been particularly competitive that they're getting piled on.

I won't believe Maxi is playing till he is on the field. We lost a test so we usually get funky and here's Stoinis.
