Looks in total control. Need him out.
and he's looked miles better than every other Indian batsman in the series so far.
Maybe Nair doesn't have the scars from the previous game?
coming off an unbeaten triple probably doesn't hurt the confidence either
Nair looks great.
Nair's a stroke maker so the spinners have something else to think about other than how am I going to get him out.
Nair is the new Rahane.
**** you all, seriouslyThis partnership has only been going for half an hour or so but it's really the first time India have looked on top with the bat in the series. Looks more like a normal tour of India.
We gotta bat last on this though.Haha SOK will be giving them nightmares after seeing that over. It's Pune all over again.
That's why Nair stood out. First Indian bat to come out and look like they knew what to do.Look I know Australia hasn't batted yet and one swallow doesn't make a summer, but Indias batting looks cod ordinary for some reason. Like they're not all there
Yeah I don't think this pitch is a road or anything but some of the dismissals have been well short of what you expect from India against spin. Nair's premeditated charge there for example just seemed totally unnecessary. Still, I can see this being pretty hard to bat on in the second innings so the last session of the day here is going to be pretty important. Australia will want to be batting ASAP given the variable bounce and sharp turn from some spots.Look I know Australia hasn't batted yet and one swallow doesn't make a summer, but Indias batting looks cod ordinary for some reason. Like they're not all there
Not necessarily.....We gotta bat last on this though.
Right, some are rolling and some are taking off. That's when it just becomes totally unpredictable.More concerned about the bit of uneven bounce already than the odd one really ragging. There's been a few from all the bowlers which have rolled. Not great signs.
