has done more than the great white hope craig kieswetter tbh
Guess it depends on how you compare an allrounder against an out and out batsman.

Kieswetter has a much better strike rate than the plodder, but a significantly lower average. He's probably got a few more catches as well.

Main difference is England have seen the light and moved on, but the Aussies keep bringing Hughesie out of retirement.

Opening bowlers struggle, but still bowling, and finally they remove both openers. Two new blokes in. Jadeja finally in.

A note about the two bowlers about whom nobody complains, and how they may be the future of India, and how India needs them so much- two matches, overs, ONE wicket for 242 runs. If the other bowlers were replaced midway through the series, these two will soon be replaced at the end of it.

That was not out! Bat and pad. Wicket gifted to the highly-protected superhero by an umpire.

australia are terrible.
Though I sense a joke here, I think you are actually spot on, considering how Sharma is judged and/or viewed by many. When he does well, it is poor batting; when he is hit for a few, it is his poor bowling. I, for one, think Ishant cops a lot of unfair criticism.

Maybe his situation should be compared with the situation Broad (and Anderson? though he was older....) were in, a few years back. Ishant has just turned 25 years old. If India have the guts to stick with him, I think he will deliver. There's only room for improvent!

Jadeja again getting away with a miserly spell. And I hate Ashwin's pause delivery. I can't remember him doing anything clever with that.
