This Kumar fella is cannon fodder. If you are going to bowl at 130kmh in Test cricket you need height or consistent swing (preferably both).
You can't be a short medium pacer who barely moves the ball. I don't think we'll see much more of him at Test level...except for maybe in Eng/SA/NZ where conditions would suit him much more.
Missing Zaheer and Yadav has been a real blow for India. They would have been a good pace duo - Zaheer's guile, accuracy and experience coupled with Yadav's pace and agression.

No need for that shot after all his hard work. I always reckon sweep shots should only be employed by guys who absolutely practice the crap out of them and then play them constantly throughout their innings.
How often do u see a guy pull out a sweep shot from nowhere, miss it and get LBW like that? Happens all the time.
