Hated seeing Starc come around the wicket so early as well.

He's a reasonably decent bat against non-top class bowling on a flat wicket at home.

Looked clueless in the West Indies too.

He has a very good range of shots which impresses people but his defensive game for a opener is not there and he has no idea where his off stump his.

Ofcourse, he can ton up but he shouldn't be playing really.

If you had a top 5 list of best Laxman + Sachin innings, Laxman would have four I reckon and I'm not really criticizing Sachin.

Siddle has looked very unlikely here. Always been a bit of an enigma to me, bowls a heap of ordinary spells then something tends to happen for him. Bit of a third session specialist.

Think Aussies have missed a trick here by not bringing Patto back on. He was on fire and taken off after just 3 overs...he's now had a good rest so should be straight back on.

If we don't break this partnership soon it will be tough going.

Haha I know Clarke likes to change his bowlers around but I still doubt you'd find too many examples of Australia using five bowlers inside the first 15 of a Test innings under his captaincy, especially when we were actually taking wickets.
