Batsmen know Johnson can produce a killer delivery any ball. That is obviously the way he bowls, and his 'inconsistancy' is a large part of how he seemingly takes wickets from nowhere.

A debutante who has a shaky start is completely different.

Because wickets per match is an excellent indicator of reliability.

Johnson's a very good bowler but the last thing I'd ever call him would be reliable, particularly with the new ball. George should've opened IMO.

Sehwag could at least run between the wickets a tad quicker. Good on Vijay on the second occasion, definitely a tight single there IMO.

a 4+ wpm <30 avg indicates he is more on then off so yeah he comes in the reliable category
