Yeah it's a poor tactic and it generally fails when we use it.It's why I've never been a fan of just containing the good player and only worrying about knocking over the rest.
Yeah, It's awesome if it happens, but you can't expect a century when the man's scored 98 in the first Innings.I just can't see Tendulkar getting another big score, the man is only human (just).
I think Ponting will open with Hilfenhaus and Tendulkar will go in the first few overs. At least thats what I hope will happen.
I think if the writer had added "in these conditions" to that sentence then there wouldn't be any fuss made of it. I think that's what he probably means, in which case he's probably right.Well what makes it hard to compare stats, is that Khan has had to play most of his matches in India, which are obviously not the best for fast bowlers. However, that being said just from observation, I think Johnson is the better bowler overall. With Bollinger and Hilfenhaus, it is too early to tell how they will fair in the long run, but at this stage I would still choose both of them over Khan if I was to pick a team (chooses would differ depending on conditions obviously, but I mean in general).
No way. Aussies are certain favorites here.Nah, even stevens.
Hi mate, welcome to CricketWebHowdy all,
Game looks evenly poised to me.
cheers, you do realise Rafa plays tennis and not cricket ?Hi mate, welcome to CricketWeb
If Rafa was lining up for the Indian team today, India would be guaranteed winners.cheers, you do realise Rafa plays tennis and not cricket ?
Heh, not sure how a tennis racquet would fair against a Mitchell Johnson yorker though. If Rafa was lining up for the Indian team today, India would be guaranteed winners.
Actually my name refers to the phrase 'Deus ex machina', but I have played the game as well agggggeeesss ago. It is indeed a pretty mad game.Deus Ex = Best computer game ever. For a pre 9/11 game its foresight is incredible, I mean only guys like David Icke and Alex Jones were talking about FEMA camps, the Rothschilds, the Rockfellers, the Illuminati and government conspiracies prior to that.
Welcome mate.cheers, you do realise Rafa plays tennis and not cricket ?
Would have one of the most lethal pull shots and cut shots in the gameHeh, not sure how a tennis racquet would fair against a Mitchell Johnson yorker though.
Your SS impersonations cut no ice with me, ****.That segment on Sachin Tendulkar almost brought tears to my eyes.
Hopefully he can at least put in a good performance, even if this game is out of reach for India now with Laxman's back being made of glass
