Bit of a better delivery to get a wicket with that one. If we can get Watto fairly soon we'll be right on top here. Been a very good recovery after the dire start.

Hmm... I can't remember our last really good Bowling PP.
Yeah, annoys me so much. Not sure why I bother following Aussie ODIs any more tbh, all I end up doing is getting angry at Michael Clarke and the general incompetence of the batting save for Watto, Hussey and White.

Edit: Sticking by this, btw.

Bounce here. Not sure leaving out Hazlewood was a great idea...

Watson didn't even face a full over's worth of balls in the PP. No wonder we struggled...

Now he does face an over, and hits two fours...

Oh please no. I'd rather a Clarke duck than a 100-odd ball 80. He really needs to be bumped down again like he was a few years back instead of waiting for form to come to him.

There are such inadequacies in this current ODI setup. Dwindling confidence for the World Cup. Pretty much the opposite for the average England fan, I would assume.

 Clarke couldn't have played that much worse TBH. Excellent bowling, and fantastic captaincy from Strauss. Not often you see top-order batsmen caught at short leg off fast bowlers in ODi cricket outside the Powerplay.

He's out of nick. His back-foot play has gone to pieces (look at the 'footwork' on show, usually his strength), and he got to 90 last game because England just gave him effortless runs through spinners.

How can Watson be making the bowlers look like pie-chuckers when everyone else has looked unbelievably poor?

Call a spade a spade - apart from Broad they haven't looked amazing. Watson has faced about four balls against him.

FFS. White should have been out there. Good delivery from Wright, and a fantastic catch from Kieswetter, just a shame Wright over-stepped by about 6ft.
