That really was an awful shot from Vaughan, think I'll go find something enjoyable to do if England are gonna bat like muppets.

Please do.

Go fishing - for a fortnight.

He was completely beaten in the flight by the drift. Can't really blame him. Tresco on the other hand didn't do that well.

Another DDOS attack

Well James can't access the forum, but he's asked me to post this for you guys.

"Due to another DDOS attack, some of you may experience problems accessing Cricket Web until this is resolved.

This is again being looked into by our hosts."

Hope this helps.
Interesting.... I had assumed it was something (a router somewhere or something) on the way to cricketweb that wasn't accepting my tcp packets - at least, that's what my ISP's service issues page said. The proxy changes my IP, and now I can visit the site. Not incredibly cluey on that stuff though. Hope it's not the nazi freaks we had the other week behind the attack, anyway.

Err yes you can, playing against the spin, to a ball pitching the best part of a foot outside leg stump when on nought.

Precisely why Warne is one of the world's greatest ever bowlers whilst Vaughan is "merely" a very good player.

I reckon it could be a case of the Aussies ruing the fact that they didn't get 50 more runs. I think it they could have got 175-180 it would be a very close game indeed, especially with the way Warnie is bowling.

I agree, 50-100 more runs woud have made for an exciting finish

And I never thought that I would see one floating slip in this situation

Yeah, absolutely. There's a lot of if only...'s there in the Australian innings too, mainly Clarke's brain fade before lunch and the Katich decision. I don't think 129 will be enough.

You would think that Tait would be introduced pretty soon - only about 70 runs or so left to play with.

We can't do this anyway - they are just scoring way too fast, and as has so often been the case, with the exception of Warne (who is also the only guy looking like taking a wicket), we can't staunch the flow. Not too bad a show from Clarke, Katich and the tail earlier on though (and Katich, as I'm sure people probably mentioned pages ago, was desperately unlucky). Have to feel for Gilchrist, though. He just can't get it right.

I'm with you on that one (the Vaughan bit is unnecessary - he'd get into your side's line-up).

Warne can still win this game from here - and he's the only person who could.

Hmm. It can't happen, can it?
Yeah, it can. I've been an English sports fan for too long to count my chickens.

If KP goes early it's real brown-trousers time. I am so not enjoying this right now.
