I can't help but think that destiny is running Englands way..............more amazing good fortune for England.

We just can't seem to catch a break.

A bit like Gilchrist didn't seem able to catch a ball in the last game?

Is that luck as well?

Youre joking right............England have had a unbelievable amount of good fortune, yes they have played well...............but just about everything has gone their way.

Australia has had their fare share of luck as well, but Engalnd have had more. It's sport, and you can't have the luck all the time

Hopefully we can rip this hopleless batting line-up aprt ... I am excited about Tait
"Hopless" ????????

I hope for your sake you can early wickets otherwise I can see England murdering Lee, Tait & Kaspa and thus forcing Warne to come on ina defensive role instead of an attacking one.

in my opinion england may have created their own luck the way they've played so i can't really see ny point in complainig. but we're not complaining just venting our frustration

Even without McGrath, I'd expect a stronger performance from Australia's batting lineup in this test after they've been blasted by all and sundry. Losing the toss and McGrath is a big blow though, and if England rack up another big score it will add a lot more pressure on the batsmen.

Here - have a tissue.

You know, when Hoggard suggested that your old guys (especially Glenn McGrath) might struggle to get through such a hectic schedule what with having to carry their own colostomy bags and all, many of the Aussies laughed.

Well, tough titty old son. Now you know how England felt having to bring a guy in from the Academy last time.

On the positive side (something you keep well hidden at first glance) I remember Thommo and Hogg making their debuts against England. All is not lost yet.
