Gillespie is shot beyond belief isnt he?
Yes & it's been clear to everybody apart from the selectors.

By the end of Edgbaston it was so abundantly obvious, I even thought they would finally see it.

Guess not.

Urgh.... Gillespie being seized upon again. Not sure where I stand on the MacGill issue (and Greg Matthews was right, bowling Katich so early in the test was a little worrying), but I really don't think Gillespie should have played. If MacGill was not to play, Kasper should have been selected.

If Gillespie makes me eat my words, so be it, but he's still looking beaten and non-threatening. Definitely koala status.

He's just a bowling machine at the moment.

A couple of cheap wickets if and when guys really start laying in to him, won't change the bigger issue though.

I'd find it more amusing if he looked ****ed off, but he just looks sad. Like he's going to cry, and no one wants to see a man with a mullet cry.

Almost.
You feel sorry for Gilly. I feel sorry for Kaspa.

Hard to believe that a world-class bowler is struggling to put 2 balls in a row on the same side of the pitch.

As for Bell, I can only assume that nerves have got to him because he couldnt have the raps on him that he does and be this ordinary.

Vaughanie's really getting into it now.

Who else really loves watching batsmen rock back and cut spinners away? It's one of my favourite shots in cricket. B)

Dropped again. Aussies are going to ****.

If Ian Bell fails again in this test match i'd like them to drop him.
Yes, if he gets himself out.

I wouldn't say he's failed yet in the series when you look at the dismissals.

Oh god, another drop.... Straight out of Hayden's breadbasket.

Very poor catching display today. Only one of them was really tough.

The high one that went out of Gilly's webbing over the slips?

Uh... The "cricket humor" thread is that way....

By this logic, you would never actually be considered unfit for international cricket until you flagrantly threw your wicket away. Being beaten is being beaten. At some point enough has to be enough.
