Yeah, pretty formulaic each time but with a gradual decline. Appalling stuff it really is.Each England batting effort this series has been more insipid than the last.
Gone 221 to win.
I daresay that even with Clarke in the team, this chase is safe.
Yeah, Hauritz killed their momentum and laid the foundatioun for our comeback. One of the best ODI spin spells in the past few years, game changing (said a similar thing in the Tests after calling him the worst bowler in the world, lol). Although we've known about his proficiency in domestic OD cricket for some time, this has been pretty impressive to say the least.Wonderful spell of late innings bowling from Lee.
Hauritz still the key bowler of the innings for mine. Grabbed the crucial wickets, put the brakes on the innings. Finished off supurb by Lee.
If Ponting or Watson get gong they could provide some entertainment.Well that was good fun, watching that many people being bowled in such a short space of time is always entertaining. I just wish that Australia would go and blast the runs off in 30 overs and give us some entertainment but with this side it will surley be the stroll to the finnish
Flap our arms, fly to the moon...All England have to do now is continue this, get 300, and then feed the strike to Clarke who waste balls a plenty and our required run rate will be up to 10 within the first 20 overs.
That was never a no ball. It was just above his waist, while he was playing a shot, but the laws state that the ball should not be higher than waist level, when the batsmen is standing upright.Still not seen a replay of the Hauritz one myself, was definitely a no-ball that though. Not to worry, serves him right for hitting one he could have hit anywhere straight to an area where two fielders were standing, intelligent cricket
