What happened to Shaun Marsh?Yeah, I dunno. I just don't think Paine and Watson looks a very good combination.

He did a hamstring in about Jan/Feb, then the match he came back in against Pakistan in April, he did it again. I think they've decided he'll have to get some games under his belt before he comes in again. What happened to Shaun Marsh?
Yeah I've noticed, hence him being economical after the other bowlers have taken some wickets.Bracken has been carried for the past twelve months. He hasn't been taking wickets or being economical (cue wrath...).
Yeah, saw him pull the hamstring in Dubai. Any info on what happened to Jaques. He has a strong List A record but was given just the 6 ODIs. Also, what has happened to him in Tests, he was first choice opener before Hughes came along. He did a hamstring in about Jan/Feb, then the match he came back in against Pakistan in April, he did it again. Jaques has had really bad injury problems too, and had to have back surgery. I think he's due back for the Champions League though.Yeah, saw him pull the hamstring in Dubai. But he hasn't been that economical. Played 5 ODI in South Africa, went at over 5 in every game and was taking wickets @ 47 a piece.Yeah I've noticed, hence him being economical after the other bowlers have taken some wickets.
Pretty sure it is a continuation of good form that has come about just recently...How does Ferguson only average 35 in List A? Was good against NZ earlier in the year and looks all class here.
Before last season he was all 20's/30's with the odd 60/70.How does Ferguson only average 35 in List A? Was good against NZ earlier in the year and looks all class here.
Does bowl an awful lot of death overs though. He's been poor, but not as poor as those figures would suggest. But he hasn't been that economical. Played 5 ODI in South Africa, went at over 5 in every game and was taking wickets @ 47 a piece.
As do most opening bowlers.Does bowl an awful lot of death overs though. He's been poor, but not as poor as those figures would suggest.
Harsh on Ferguson tbh. Also, this is the worst Australian performance I've seen this tour. They've been seriously, seriously dire today.
Yeah, and 5 an over is pretty decent for an opening bowler, especially if he bowls during the batting powerplays. As do most opening bowlers.
I'm not sure it's exactly great for batting. Will be interesting to see how we go.Also, this is the worst Australian performance I've seen this tour. They've been seriously, seriously dire today.
Not for a guy who isn't taking any wickets. Can understand with Lee but Bracken has been getting tap and not getting any wickets. Twelve months ago he was taking wickets with the new ball and not getting any tap.Yeah, and 5 an over is pretty decent for an opening bowler, especially if he bowls during the batting powerplays.
Ferguson was impressive, but not great. 50 off 50 won't win any matches. Everything else about the performance has been horrendous. There's nothing good that can be said about anything any of the other players have done today.Harsh on Ferguson tbh.
