Oh god, how embarrassing.

Bairstow is all of a sudden almost too good at ODIs

Leave to it England though to score 480 in an ODI and still manage to leave runs out there.

Been watching this series on and off. I never read too much into Aus bilateral ODI series to be fair. Come World cup time and Starc, Hazelwood and presumably Smith and Warner in the mix and all of a sudden they are a different beast. Agar has quietly impressed me to be honest. Don't know what happened to Zampa? But if they need 10 economical overs from a guy who obviously can bat I don't think he is a bad bet at 8.

England looking so good though. Absolutely on a different level in this series. Bairstow is molten at the moment.

england need to drop root tbh. does nothing but slow them up.

in fact drop the bowlers too. no one is chasing 480 (apart from england)

That different beast as you call it got thumped by England in Australia a few months ago. They aint all that.

Maybe I should actually watch aimless pyjama bilaterals if we are thumping the convicts by such a total?

This gets less astonishing the more I consider our attack.

Two guys who have barely played professional cricket and have been forced in via the pathway at the expense of those more deserving. Supplemented by a guy whose call to fame was batting too low on debut, a guy who is pits at FC and relies on a gimmick to take wickets in LO matches, and a fella who is only there because he swung a dukes ball for an FC season or two and because someone on the selection panel forgot what a white ball is. Plus Kane Richardson, which says it all really.

I mean I know this ain't the finest side we could put out ideally, but good god even an A-team with a handicap of D'arcy Short should at least compete to some degree with an international side.

Time to apologize to Mennie, Worrall and Tremain lads.

I am unclear how anyone can have watched Agar bowl in this series and be even slightly impressed. He's village.

Zampa should be back in the side.
