This OD team definitely needs some big changes imo. Don't think this series is a particularly good indication of where the team is at, but at the same time there's no doubt certain things aren't good enough. Need to throw out the weak links in the batting like Forrest, replace them with far more deserving players, and get Hussey back asap. And then the bowling needs a pretty big overhaul too imo. Have to move away from this pace crazed obsession and bring in bowlers who can work in tandem to keep things tight and build pressure. Would be happy to get rid of Johnson and Hilf for good in the format, and possible try and find a replacement for Lee too...he shows glimpses of brilliance every now and again, but unfortunately he just seems to lose the plot too much these days. Will have to be replaced soon enough anyway. The only bowler who should definitely stay in the side is McKay for me, and I would like to see someone like McDermott get a go at some point. Bollinger should be back in contention as well. Can do better than Doherty too imo, and would like to see Lyon given a longer go in this format.

The batting is just terrible. The bowling has been off colour but I'm less worried by that than the fact that we have half a batting order.

Need to bring about 20 next year for the ashes with Harris and Cummins in the squad. Might mean a place on tour for Johnson. I'd be seriously considering McKay judged on what I have seen here. Only one dayers but he looks the type who could prosper in England.

Trott needs to break into a trot, not this snail's pace he is batting at now. He seems to be having a net, and just knocking the ball to the fielders.

EDIT: He must be listening to me, and comical outfielding gives him another boundary.
