I can't see Warner lasting much longer. Handsy is going to go past him and then Warner is going to go WTF and get out trying to be regular flavour Warner. But I hope I am horribly wrong.

Whatever it takes!!!
As long as Oz can avoid the usual morning session collapse that happens so often in tests, they are winning this game hands down. Such a good position to be in by day 2 of a test here.

I've just been following vaguely via scorecard but does it seem to anyone else that BD are being way too defensive? In the field placings especially? There seems to be way too many easy singles out there, and a lot of fielders in the deep where they could be in the ring building pressure.

Amazing how it can change so quickly for Warner to home track bully to these recent 2 knocks.
Hate to bring in IPL while discussing test cricket, but Warner has been one of the best performers in IPL in the last couple of years - which suggests spin is not his demon any more.

Warner you magnificent bastard. Handscomb crook as Rookwood but Warner has been on the ground for every ball of the test match so far.

Yeah I think most of us have talked **** about Warner over the last six months but these last two innings have been pretty beastly.

I wonder if Peter will find time to not talk about this innings in the decades to come

Fizzy bowling a heap of pies today really hurt the Bangladesh attack IMO. This balance works really well for them at home, but only if the one seamer is actually decent. Shafiul probably would've bowled better than The Fizz today, and that's pretty disastrous.

Ive alfready made my bandwagon thread for the decade, but I'm liking Warner too. Very happy to see him get a clue on these pitches.
