***Official*** Australia A and New Zealand A in India

Nathan McCullum doesn't have the stats behind him, but I wonder, what impact can he make in a match?
Whenever NZ play in India they like to play two spinners, and they have picked McCullum as the second(personally I would have preferred Bruce Martin), he is also an improving free-scoring batsman. It does look like he should have got more than five overs given that someone like Raina was able to snare four. Gutting that Greg Hay still hasn't played - please, please, please play in the last match!

I've been disappointed with Jeetan Patel so far on this tour.

Despite cleaning up the tail in the first match he has been pretty poor.

I also don't understand why Redmond has got two games at the top of the order..for mine he isn't much of a OD batsman...his List A stats tend to agree with me.

This would be my team for the last match:

Watling+
Guptill
Fulton
Marshall
Broom
Hay
Elliott
Scott
Patel
Gillespie
Arnel

Strong batting lineup and a far stronger bowling lineup than the one we have been using in past games. Could switch Scott for Mason also.

Don't understand why they picked Asnodkar ahead of Dhawan..
Dhawan is injured, Kohli is no opener, Sehwag and Gambhir don't need to return to India A and Chopra is apparently not a limited-overs prospect. Asnodkar did well in IPL as opener, and the Royals won the tournament, so he too became a prospect. He's a good choice for a limited-overs team.

The IPL was complete rubbish. How anyone can justify picking players from a 20/20 tournament is beyond me.

Don't understand why they picked Asnodkar ahead of Dhawan..
Tbf to him, he has got run out twice in the series, and his List A stats are also decent so he kind of deserved this chance but sadly he hasn't made the most of it, though i would have advocated picking Dhawan (if he was fit) ahead of Uthappa, seriously with the kind of technique Uthappa has i can't see him opening the batting with much success.

Its kind of surprising why selectors always somehow manage to ignore Dhawan, when he was coming up through the U-19 ranks he was rated pretty highly in Indian cricketing circles, but in general too its surprising that he isn't even in contention for a national spot atm.

Any update on the latest match between NZ A and Aus A. Is there any site where I can catch live score?

Wow...NZ have turned to absolute **** in this tourny.

NZ 144 all out. Fulton 65, Hay 36, White 4/34.

Yes, Cameron White...shows how completely rubbish NZ's batting was.

Nice to see Fulton back in form though...looks like he has sorted his dodgy technique out.

Fulton has got nice starts in this tournament. Its good we had some good performances individually. Its been good series for Broom especially. Who knows? NZ might get them all out well below 100 today....Just hope for that..or else you are already out of the tournament

The problem is there is no way of following what is happening...so you have no idea if Australia are struggling or smashing 140 in 15 overs. Pretty hard to be optimistic with that kind of score when you have no idea what is going on.

Though we have a slightly stronger bowling lineup with Scott replacing McCullum...hopefully Gillespie can knock off a few of their top order then we can run through them.

Yeah. That is what I am banking upon. But we cant leave everything to bowlers in every match. Not sure who is captaining the side ATM. Is it Fulton or James Marshall?

What's up with the Black caps changing the captain every next game, shouldn't they be grooming a guy as captain who they think in future could lead the side.

Oh dear.

At least Hay got a sort of score in tough circumstances, which should shut Bahnz up a bit. :p If he wants to count a 20 by Flynn against Andre Adams then I'm definitely counting a 36 overseas against India A for the so called flat track bully. :p

Oh well, at least we know that Cameron White, whatever he does to NZ A, has no hope as an international spinner. Should focus on his batting, which has potential.

There seems to be some sort of taboo on telling Marshall that he's not very good, despite however much he may play and look like his brother.
