They should present her with the gold at a big event in NZ, as has been suggested.

But I'd also like the IOC to bring people who win medals in this situation to the opening ceremony of the next Games and present them with their medals as part of making a statement about the drugs policy. If not the opening ceremony, then it should be something they do.

The first positive test was actually discovered the day before competition as a result pre-tourney testing - not sure why they didnt ban her there and then

Could be worse - either not discovered or being in the shoes of Michael Rogers (Aussie cyclist) who is amongst a few athletes that are being awarded medals from 2004 Olympics as a result of new testing technology
