  • Robin Uthappa at seven again- a return for India's version of Ricardo Powell, I guess. Will we see a typical Uthappa innings of a big hit off every ball?
Just saw this, depressingly  unfortunately.

Might regret that let off for Sanath. Ugh, just when we could've gone for the jugular.

WTF @ Praveen Kumar not being picked.
I agree there. After watching him bowl to the Aussies in the Commonwealth Bank Series a few months ago, I have very high hopes for him. He picked up 10 wickets in 4 games, and his spell in the final was match winning. He can toil away at batsmen on the best of batting wickets, and often get you out. And being only 21 he has it all ahead of him.

Yeeeeaaaaaaahhhh! Jayasuriya on fire! Can't watch it unfortunately but on cricinfo commentary sounds like some pretty exciting stuff is happening.

Jayasuriya has made a good start for the Sri Lankans, and is currently on 61 off only 52 balls. Unfortunately he has already lost 4 partners, who could only string together 20 runs between them. Jayasuriya and Dilshan will have to put together a big partnership here because the Sri Lankans don't have much batting left in them. The batsmen left only average 59 between them.

And the Indians batting line up of Sehwag, Gambhir, Raina, Sharma, Singh, Dohni and Uthappa will chase down a fairly low total with ease.

As I type this he hits two sixes and two fours in four balls.

This is pitiful bowling by Pathan. Dilshan hitting 3 boundaries in a row.

I really really hope we drop him again.

Pathan gets hit for 3 straight 4's... By Dilshan. Wow a Sri lankan not named Jayasuriya is actually doing something

My picture's a little grainy here, but is this as much of a road as the previous games? As in can we get 300+ chasing on this?

We're only going in with 4 bowlers and 2 of them are absolute liablities today. If we can't get someone and quick we're going to be massacred here.

I would like to ask- what if the four bowlers finished their forty overs before the last ten? That should be thought about. Ten wickets is a priority.

And why was Ishant taken off when running hot? Needs a rethink.

There are some asking why Praveen Kumar was not picked. Truth is, from India's best swing bowler, he's become un-pick-able rubbish. Basically a rough patch like one that came to Irfan has come very early in his career.

Sanath seems unstoppable, even against good bowling. They can't do much, only knock down the other end.

The big question is who can do a Sanath for India. He's been insanely aggressive, with at least one chance going down, and hitting India's best bowler for at least three sixes. At least one for India has to do it, and it should be a joker in the pack- maybe Irfan or Uthappa.
