We got really old Dhoni instead.Give us a glimpse of the old dhoni
I can't understand someone with such good sense of timing and occasion can't see that it's best for everyone that he quits. He was quite pragmatic when he decided to bow out of test cricket and limited over captaincy. (Though I think he could have been better off quitting limited over and continuing tests)Hoping Dhoni would do a Alastair Cook and bow out of international Cricket with a match winning century against the West Indies at home. If he sticks until after WC, he'll **** India's chances and likely get a lot of **** for that. He doesn't deserve that kind of a finish to his career
wow deepYou either retire young or live long enough to see yourself become the villain.
Maybe not "better", but almost certainly better for the role they've actually got Dhoni playing with the context of their batting lineup.Seriously though is Dhoni going to be replaced by someone better than him if he retires? It's all well and good saying he's not what he was but of he's still the best keeper/ bat in the country then him moving on won't help things. The world cup is only 9 months away.
But there's better players to do that.If that's the case then he should probably just bat 3 and anchor.
