Feel a bit sorry for Afghanistan. I'm surprised they crumbled in the last over like that. Good work to defend the last over. You have to credit the bowler. Afghanistan need more firepower in their line up. Their ceiling is too low in terms of team sorry. I feel sorry for Sami. He tries hard. When he actually times it he hits a monster ball. He is so hit and miss. In the game context he didn't play a bad knock so shouldn't be too hard on himself. Nabi's knock kept them in the hunt (killer blow in hindsight). You'd have thought they got close enough for the win even with Nabi out. Rashid Khan seems to wilt with the bat under pressure. Which is surprising (he thrives on pressure with the ball).

For the match against Pakistan I would like to see common sense being applied. Drop Shanto. He's not ready yet. Liton and Kayes should open but knowing BD they will slot in Soumya in crunch game. Mushfiq can bat at 3. The reason I dont want them to throw Mominul in because his confidence already shattered. He needs a fresh series playing every game (could be Zimbabwe series). Next Shakib/Mithun at 4 & 5. Mullah at 6. Ariful can play at 7. This is the gamble we can take. He can hit big. Next Miraz, Mashrafe, Opu and Fizz.
