There’s a lot to be said about Afghanistan, some of it naturally very negative, but just how have they managed to rise up the ranks so quickly when the country is in a state, and when Bangladesh (who themselves are a team on the up these days) have been playing for far longer? Is it a case of basically being cut off from Test cricket, forcing them to focus almost exclusively on white ball cricket whereas Bangladesh have to divide their resources between the two?

Maybe.

Did BD really deserve it?
No. Specially after that gavaskaresque innings from Mehidy and shitty bowling from Mehidy and Shoriful. Only three players played with some decency- Rana, Nasum and Mahmudullah.
Even Mustafiz gave too many singles on the off side.
