It certainly is. maybe they want to keep hotel bills really low.Well that's a very short turnaround between matches isn't it?
"Real" test nations appear not to want to play Afghanistan:i dont mean ro hate any one but i think its a waste of resources for icc for these two to playb test. The best way to introduce them to test is to let them play with a real test nation and then they can play together after that
Rained off. Pretty different from Australia's cancellations."Real" test nations appear not to want to play Afghanistan:
Only 12 tests arranged before this series since 2018. Averaging not much over one per year.
2018: 1 x India
2019: 1 x Ireland, 1 x Bangladesh, 1 x West Indies
2020: 1 x Australia (cancelled)
2021: 2 x Zimbabwe, 1 x Australia (cancelled)
2022: none arranged
2023: 1 x Bangladesh
2024: 1 x West Indies, 1 x Ireland and 1 x New Zealand (cancelled)
one or two "real" test nations missing from that list
Ireland are in a very similar boat having not yet played India, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and the Windies, so forgive me for being sceptical that teams aren’t playing Afghanistan for humanitarian reasons lol"Real" test nations appear not to want to play Afghanistan:

Same for Rashid Khan.Raza's playing again after a four-year break, interesting
Him and Ngarava are similar in that aspect. They can run through sides and take a bunch of wickets in a spell when they get it right though. Nyamhuri looks very raw but also clearly has the tools and pace to take wickets at Test level. Still a teen so hopefully he develops well and serves Zim cricket for a long time.I've just watched the highlights and again I am disappointed in Muzarabani. He should be leading the attack. He made Rashid and the tailenders jump around a bit, which is fine, but sprayed it all over the place. He's just never managed to get his action sorted despite spells in county cricket and elsewhere overseas. Still love the guy tho.
It's Mavuta but he bowled pies in the first Test. Possibly still Wellington Mazakadza beyond that.Him and Ngarava are similar in that aspect. Who is Zim’s premier Test spinner by the way? They get away with spamming spin from Williams or in this Test Raza but you need to develop a proper spinner to compete.
They're also hosting two tests against us in July.I see Zimbabwe have a Test arranged against Ireland next month, apparently it was supposed to be a 2-Test series originally, but at least it’s good to see them playing Test cricket fairly regularly, of course they have the trip here at the start of our summer too
But the dates aren’t confirmed as yet unfortunately. They're also hosting two tests against us in July.
