Mominul should have been given game time against WI A if he’s to be included here. Bizarre decision to omit him there. Other than that team looks good.

I am planning to go to the test if weather holds up. Should be good contest. Whats interesting is that we got only Taijul and Miraz in the squad as spinner. The pitch probably will have grass and all but the problem is it never remains the same. Maybe first or the day after then this going to flat out or break.

Afganistan are such a frustrating team. Gurbaz and zadran are a gun opening pair, and ramit shah is usually good to occupy the crease for 50 balls and make a few runs at 3, and their bowling is fantastic. They just desperately need a middle order thats not made of cardboard.

Everyday not same.June 7 Very bad day for Afghanistan cricket, After winning toss in Crucial Decider they are 116 all out vs Chameera & Hasaranga 3 for 7.

SL with 34 ovs spares beat Afghanistan by 9 wkts won series 2/1.

Mominul was included in 3rd test (Draw) vs Westindies A he scored 5 & 5 in 2 innings but yet BD included him in Test team because he scored 10 test century at Dhaka. He is not Good anymore.
Litton Das deserved for leader job.

Agree. Mominul had his chances. Did not know he’s playing against WI A. Anyhow he should not be there in the main team. If Zakir opens, then Joy/Dipu can be slotted in middle order. I’d go something like this-

1. Tamim
2. Zakir
3. Shanto
4. Mushfiq
5. Dipu
6. Liton
7. Miraz
8. Taijul
9. Taskin
10. Ebadat
11, Mushfik

Zakir and Joy were both so **** against West Indies A. They all were. It was really alarming.

EDIT: Never mind, it appears Joy finally tonned up in the fourth innings of the last match.

Yeah Joy saved the match for us. But honestly I expected better from likes of Shadman and co since we were playing home. Disappointing series overall.

It was ****ing sobering! Did not expect that at home. Not sure I want to think about what it means for our talent stocks.
