Son Of Coco
Cricket Web: All-Time Legend
We've largely wasted any help the conditions have given us this morning by being a bit too loose at times. Hazlewood was good. Cummins not bad. Starc a bit loose. Probably to be expected though.
Never quoted myself before, but well I never.Last chance saloon for me. Looks ok for his 20-30ish but that’s it.
Nah that was always going to be either out or not out, because only doubt was where it was pitching which doesn't have ump's callDamn, thought on field decision would save him.
Looked plumb with the only question being whether it pitched outside leg.Doesn’t look out to me. What do I know.
To be fair, that's a big questionLooked plumb with the only question being whether it pitched outside leg.
If it’s that close to pitching outside leg it can never look plumb, surely? Or have I got the meaning of ‘plumb’ wrong? Still out though and a great review.Looked plumb with the only question being whether it pitched outside leg.
I'd say it can 'look' plumb, as in taking out all 3 stumps, but then be not out due to where it pitched. If it’s that close to pitching outside leg it can never look plumb, surely? Or have I got the meaning of ‘plumb’ wrong? Still out though and a great review.
It is.To be fair, that's a big question
Ok, we can have our own interpretations. You don’t get umpires call on where the ball pitches though.I'd say it can 'look' plumb, as in taking out all 3 stumps, but then be not out due to where it pitched.
It was a close call in the end, and when I saw where it pitched, I expected 'umpire's call'.
