Whatever it takes!!!
Its hard to point out why but you can see the side is just responding better to being put under pressure while bowling. The fields are better, there is more energy around the side and there is a bit more consistency around everything.

Loose take but I think that's what enables him to make the most of his level of talent. He doesn't try to get in his own head, he plays the exact same innings every time no matter what.
Yeah I was kinda thinking the same. Bowlers at this level like to set players up, so if they beat someone they'll often then adjust anticipating an overcompensation. Carey just ignores whatever's happening and bats the same.
