I don’t necessarily agree with the approach, but if it helps with clarity of thought then I don’t mind it, just for the short term.

You can’t on one hand keep reminiscing about Pujara in previous series then get upset when others try it.

Just let them keep running in and tire them out. The pitch will ease up and you might get some runs. Worth a shot.

They need to win though. playing an attritional game here is tough because the ball is doing so much you’re likely to get out and you haven’t advanced the game. It’s a little different to the Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane decks of the previous tours.

then again, they also haven’t been given much to hit at all and they’re already 4 down. So they’re sort of betwixt and between to an extent

Is Lyon truly rarely in gully as JL is suggesting on comms? I feel I've seen him there often?

Bloke behind me in the crowd is saying McJerk just needs to temper his game a bit and he will be an all timer.

International Regular
Selectors: Marsh didn't bowl because we didn't need him to

Webster: bowls 8 overs compared to all 3 pacers bowling 12 (so 75% of main pacer workload)

I think India's strategy seems like to stay in until the big 3 Aussie bowlers finally die. And then probably give Head the wickets.

True enough, although I do think Sundar is more suited to this type of batting than Jadeja though.

I'd like to think Sundar's effort in the second innings ruined any chance of a move up the order which is actually fair enough.
