I am a fan of Boland too but saying he is a much better Philander is a stupid take.
Philander was proven at home and away, in all conditions. He's vastly superior who Boland who is a home specialist

He has 224 wickets @22 in all conditions, all around the world.

Also he was a bowling all rounder. Has 1779 runs @ 24 batting, with 8 50s. Not comparable to Boland who is a specialist bowler only.

A superb cricketer ,not many like this anymore.

Both teams having good bowlers and weaker batting plus spicy decks makes for interesting cricket
But it's not just that. India are outgunned but, Melbourne final session aside, have not rolled over yet. They have thrown some punches of their own and somehow the trophy is still on the line heading into tomorrow.

Plus the narratives and drama coming out of this series have been compelling too. Not quite the heady peaks of Monkeygate, but fun nonetheless

Yeah they’ve been like Australia in the 05 Ashes. Bumrah is their one man army as Warne was ours back then

I believe he will decide not to bowl. Besides, other bowlers are getting good results from the wicket, so I believe he will decide not to bowl due to this.

Prasidh in good form and looks a good bowler.

Yeah. If Australia lose tomorrow they should be kicking themselves. India by right shouldn't have been this competitive.
Did u happen to see Australia batting or paper thin lineup? Guys like Mitch Marsh got 4 tests this series, total walking wicket rubbish.

Both batting lineups are made of cardboard.

The worst case is if he decides to bowl but cant get his pace up. The image of him being tonked will sink Indian spirits.

Yeah but at worst he could break a toenail.
Nothing is more sure to get a love-reacc out of me than a reference to Shane Warne bowling in India with a broken toenail.

Especially since Shamar Joseph literally bowled his team to victory against Australia in Australia with a much worse version of that injury just recently.

Will Bumrah be the Virgin Warne or the Chad Joseph?
