This is just limp dick batting. You get good conditions and you don't grind them into the dust. If your not making runs you gotta take these opportunities.
There seems be a 'that's enough' mentality in our batting at the moment, the way they select their shots, and grind before giving it away. No-one except Head wants to really stamp on the opposition's chest.

England are looking pretty good imo. Brooding new talent in which Australia should've done a year ago. English bowlers would love bowling on Australian pitches.
England are looking awful. Because they are. Their bowlers won’t take 20 wickets all series. 5-0 Australia

TBH I honestly think that one was there to be hit. The problem was that while he hit it quite well, it still went down Kohli's throat.

Speaking of this, I find it awfully suspicious stephen has never provided an alibi for his activities on 9/11/2001
I laughed it off when my friend told me about it. I'd watched the Lone Gunmen the week before where terrorists hijacked a plane to fly into the twin towers. Thought he'd been watching a replay.

But just the fact that he missed an entire home test series for the birth of his second kid, his moving base to UK seems to suggest some kind of health issue for his second kid which maybe the reason he is moving to the UK. Its not the same guy who spoke so glowingly about Pakistan after they beat us in the 2017 CT, and who acted so respectfully when NZ beat us in the WTC finals etc and who defended Mohammed Shami so passionately after that 2020 T20 WC game against Pak. And as I said, even during his youth, outside of carrying on screaming after wickets or whatever, he usually only reacted when something was said or done to him. Just dont think he is in the best space mentally and that means he is gonna suck and we are gonna lose badly this game as well. :(
Source? Him moving to UK has more to do with privacy and relatively better quality of life for his kids imo

Think TJB also has a decent point around the drops aswell, TBH. Marnus tended to get dropped on a shot like that 2 years ago, and people don't talk about this as much but usman's peak opening was on the back of lots of drops. Could just be regression to mean with there luck rather than a mentality change.
