The Wheel is Forever
India's incredibly long tail could become an issue for us here if we don't get at them relatively early.
Yeah, I feel Australia have abojt 15 more overs to really get another 2, maybe 3 wickets and then it’ll get a lot harder barring some top tier spells or batting brain farts (both of which are possible of course but it just changes the equation).

Apparently the highest attended Test in Australia already.
As per Cricinfo -
'A lot of interest from our readers about the attendance, and here's Alex with the official figures: "Day 5 current attendance is 51,371. The total attendance of 350,700 is the greatest for any Test match at the MCG exceeding the total of 350,534 v England in 1937 over 6 days. (This also the greatest attendance for any Test match played in Australia.)"'

Aus have bowled well today but Starc does look a much much better bowler when he's not being attacked and is allowed to just settle in to a rhythm. India might wonder what they could have done to be more proactive

Well nobody has to ask me twice to talk about gambling.

Currently Australia at approx 33% chance of winning, draw at 60% and India are at approximately 7%. I’m a little surprised draw is so high but there it is - probably people are thinking that it’ll be harder to take wickets once the ball gets about 30-40 overs old.
draw. RPO req is 4.65 on a two paced wicket.

Would like to see mid-on and mid-off brought up here. Seems like India are stonewalling so pose the question as to how far they want to take that

I think possibly they were worried India will pounce on Lyon and get back up with the run rate. But still. Surprised he's been held back this long on a live day 5.
