Going off. Hurts India as I think a mini-session late in the day would've been the one way to really turn the match on its head.

Very well batted from Reddy and Sundar. Saved the team from oblivion and have given them half a chance if one of their bowlers goes super saiyan.

Now the question is what's the target that Australia have in their mind..

If it's 400, they need to get a little less than 300 in 60 overs maybe? That's going at 5 an over. Very possible but I think this fightback should've increased the morale of the dressing room.

Cummins is going to go all out for the win. Will probably be a test match to remember. Very fitting scenario for a boxing day test.

Whatever it takes!!!
NKR's father apparently didn't have money to feed the family coz he had sacrificed his job for NKR's cricket and then MSK Prasad took him to an academy in Andhra where they also provide lodging, food, clothing and cricket gear etc for free for talented players. Just amazing what people come through to achieve things in Indian cricket.

I spoke about it after the WC final. The pressure and journey Indian cricketers go through is something no one else can truly understand. Even other desi and SC folks.

Think it’s for the best that the day has (most likely) ended. India need to chew up as much time as they can in this game. Batting for 30 mins tomorrow then taking up time to change over, giving Australia two and a bit sessions to bat on day 4, leaves India a day to bat out to win or draw.

There would be so many horror stories of that kind of gamble backfiring too.

I’d be very happy going off as an Indian player tbh. Taking a wicket now is not worth potentially eating up 30mins of play tomorrow morning in the context of going for a draw.

Great innings by Reddy and Sundar today, well played by them. Hope tomorrow lets the last pair cut the deficit down to 100, but the big issue is going to be India's bowling effort in the 3rd innings, given that they've just given up 474 in this game.

No way are Australia scoring 300 in 60 overs just to give India about 110 overs to get 400

Well they are far lesser now as there are so many more avenues to make a living from cricket these days but yes, like any other rags to riches story, the percentage of the ones succeeding will always be far less. But that is what inspires people and has inspired people forever.

They'll look to bat most of the day and back themselves to get all 10 in the last day assuming the wicket break up
