Is the pitch going to get flatter as we go on?
It could well do - one of the reasons they made the MCG super spicy is that the pitch would actually be at its best in the fourth innings. There were a few seasons of Shield cricket were 400+ scores were being chased down routinely. Is the pitch going to get flatter as we go on?
I think it will be pretty good all match, day 5 may keep a bit low, but the spinners on either side won't be good enough to exploit itIs the pitch going to get flatter as we go on?
You never know man, The dreaded MCG pitch had the RPW of 40.9 until the second inning ended, this pitch might eclipse that. Not quite that bad but definitely a throwback to the pre-2019 pitches.
very misunderstoodPersonally can't stand this guy Langer's overly earnest voice and commentary
That pitch didn't even get to the fourth innings iirc, that's how bad it wasYou never know man, The dreaded MCG pitch had the RPW of 40.9 until the second inning ended, this pitch might eclipse that.
Might be hard leaving him out at Sydney if he finishes the match off strongly.Boland has been outstanding here.
lol I started rating Jimmy and Broad higher because they managed to be effective on that wicketThat pitch didn't even get to the fourth innings iirc, that's how bad it was
This is more like those 2014-15 pitches which just had absolutely nothing in them after the grass died.
Worst Australian Test XI (Minimum 35 Tests)is Marsh the worst cricketer to have played so much for Australia?
He's been very disappointing - big concern going into Sydney nowHaven't seen much of spin this series but Lyon has probably looked the most out of sorts spinner out of both teams
I mean Hazlewood won't be back for Sydney so he's playing regardless.Might be hard leaving him out at Sydney if he finishes the match off strongly.
