**Official** 3rd Test @Brisbane (Ewwwww), 14th-18th December

Qlder

International Regular
Laxman holds the Indian record for the highest % of runs in an innings (63.98%).

Rahul currently has 64.76% with only Slater (66.85) and Bannerman (67.35) ahead of him

So Hazlewood has a totally different injury to his side strain that had him miss last test. This should have him out for the summer having got injured in both tests he's played

I know Krishna is in the touring squad - worth giving him a go? Can it be worse? I haven't seen him bowl in a long time. They clearly won't drop the problem batsmen. Or India go in with both Ashwin and Jadeja in next two Tests and hope for the best that one of them can get something out of the pitches, which should be slightly better for India.

better means 200 all out for these *****
Correct. But Bumrah needs some support. At the very least someone who can dry up the runs at the other end. I agree the batting needs wholesale changes but Indian cricket don't drop batting superstars (have no problem dropping bowlers).

Initially I assumed you were suggesting Krishna playing as a specialist batsman:ph34r:

For all his excellence, how much longer can the selectors automatically pick Hazlewood? Been a pretty regular occurrence during a home summer for him to break down in recent years.

Idk but getting bowled out cheaply might not necessarily be a bad thing especially with the weather forecast.

Just don't need Bumrah to bowl again. Wrap him in a bubble wrap or something else we are done for this series.

Less angry than I was re: Hazlewood since it's calf, but it does show that you really just can't trust him any more and he can't play unless he's beyond fit, not just borderline.

Also, if we lose this test, it would be a 5th test match loss in a row for Rohit. Has this happened before with an Indian captain or is this a new record?
