It was Crawley keeping that day?, well maybe it was can't really remember, but anyway i have seen the bloke keep enough on TV & a few times at OT to make a fair judgement.superkingdave said:you mean the totesport game where John Crawley kept wicket?
I think I'm right in saying that they don't have to declare their XI until the toss, half an hour before play begins.PhoenixFire said:When do we find out the England XII?
I think you just name an eleven at the toss, but I could be wrong.PhoenixFire said:I mean 13, not 11. Including the 12th man and reserve.
Yes you've repeated it now - but not what you'd said earlier.aussie said:I repeat i have seen him, gotta get skysports mayn..
Marc speaks the truth. Unless you're speaking of Gilchrist like batting ability, you can't pick based on that. And if you have someone like Gilchrist, he would make it in as a specialist batsman anyway, and if he can keep at a decent level for you, thats just a plus.marc71178 said:Yes you've repeated it now - but not what you'd said earlier.
The problem is a keeper cannot be recommended based on runs scored - the number of people who've suggested Matt Prior for the England role is considerable bearing in mind that every report I've heard of his keeping is that it makes the debuting Geraint look like Jack Russell in his prime.
Neither Jones nor Read will make a difference. Both are crap relatively speaking; Read is just less crap.Alysum said:Yes Mahmood and Monty in. Well England may also already have lost this test with Jones and Harmison in the team...
