It's a pity once again England had no clue how to bat in these conditions. They simply have to learn to play their shots in the last minute. When the Indians will come out from Tea, will show their skills. Stay tuned for some masterclass batting display.

Don’t mean to rub it in but I think England’s match tally of 193 could be their worst ever, and one of the bottom 5 or 10 by any team in history? I remember Pakistan tallied about 110 in Sharjah in the early 2000s.

Certainly not the worst ever. We got dumped for something like 82 and 93 in New Zealand in the 80's

Apparently we got bowled out for 93 & 82 in New Zealand back in the 80s (EDIT: Beaten by LT). I guess there'd be a handful of really low match aggregates from the early era of tests

Anyway, can't imagine India will exceed it by more than a couple of runs or so  (anyone remember Sarfraz Ahmed using that logic to spin an ODI series we'd dominated as a close one?)

English batsmen simply could have heaved a bit to unsettle Indian bowlers. I wonder why they went defensive. It is like the ostrich hiding their head under sand when a predator is approaching. Counter attack, gentlemen, is the best defence.

So India will face NZ in the Cup finals if they even draw the next match. India will obliterate NZ and go on to rule cricketing world for the next decade.

A deep point instead of a second slip in the 3rd over when you’re defending 49 on a ragging turner... Amazing even for England.
