Yes it's turning but it always did in India. What's so surprising? I've watched on similar decks India smash us all over the park. I think the quality of batters is very questionable these days whether more spin or pace. Looks like this generation batters can only bat on flat decks. Spin, seam or swing batters are severely lost.

One of the openers needs to be given a licence to slog to try to get parity ASAP. If it comes off England wins in a canter

If they wait til Stokes is in it’s too late. Actually tougher to do at three for nothing. Do it from ball one. Or maybe even open with him. After all, he should be watching theirs from a 6x8 foot cell in Pentonville Road Gaol.

a wicket-taking ball is almost inevitable here, so waiting around till it comes along is a bit pointless. showing some #intent (urgh) might actually be the right way to play, assuming the batter doesn't execute poorly and get out anyways.
