came on as a sub and got his knee stuck in a pothole in the outfield tooSo dropping Bess for Moeen who hadn't had any cricket for 6 months looks a wise move now.

I mean it’s going to be a rough pitch to bat on, from probably tomorrow onwards but today it’s really good. Excellent toss to win, comparable to last Testfootmarks 7 overs in lol
It's decent to bat on for now but there's no way it's a first day pitch. It will be a minefield by day 3.Few have turned and bounced, very good pitch to bat on. People are way overhyping this because the ball has disturbed the surface occasionally
Aha, you're on the wind up. Noted.Excellent toss to win, comparable to last Test
if someone sticks around with root, state of the pitch won't matterI mean it’s going to be a rough pitch to bat on, from probably tomorrow onwards but today it’s really good. Excellent toss to win, comparable to last Test
What? Are you a ****ing idiot or something?Aha, you're on the wind up. Noted.
He may yet come back to do well but it could well be a career ender here. Hard to see him getting a look-in over Bess or Leach anytime soon.So dropping Bess for Moeen who hadn't had any cricket for 6 months looks a wise move now.
Depends a bit on what he does with the bat doesn’t it?He may yet come back to do well but it could well be a career ender here. Hard to see him getting a look-in over Bess or Leach anytime soon.
I was wondering that about Moeen too. Too early to say on Day 1 of course, but he's looked increasingly innocuous, whereas Leach has occasionally threatened even though these two are really well set.He may yet come back to do well but it could well be a career ender here. It’s a long way from being goodI mean it’s going to be a rough pitch to bat on, from probably tomorrow onwards but today it’s really good. Excellent toss to win, comparable to last Test
can't score if you don't bowl is eng's strategyEngland seem to have slowed the run rate quite a bit? Is it the bowling, the pitch or a bit of both?
True, but it would have to be fairly substantial if his role is primarily to bowl.Depends a bit on what he does with the bat doesn’t it?
