This Indian team needs some coaching on batting against spin now..
Turning wickets are actually dangerous for us more than the opposition.. ?‍

most batsmen who played ranji in the mid to late 00s are **** against spin but good off the backfoot

throughout the 00s we had completely dead tracks that didn't help spinners both in local games and international games

plus our bowlers' average speed went up and such bowlers probably tried more short balls because that is what fast bowlers do

our next batch of youngsters like priyam garg, jaiswal etc should have better techniques while playing spin

The slow-mo there showed just how close Rahane was to missing that ball he ended up middling (but mistiming slightly). He wasn't really near the pitch either. Not hard to see why he struggles a bit at home when you watch that footage.

It’s objectively not a good pitch if it’s going through the top in the third over of a five day match

Also re.Stone he is still very much a novice at this level obvs, but there's no doubt he would have played more tests if he was injury-free. This is a bold and exciting move from England
