Struggling to think of much to say. I still clearly remember the first game of women's cricket that I ever watched live, which was the World Cup final in 2000. Fair to say there's been more downs than ups with this team in the 24 years since, and especially lately, but this makes it all worthwhile. Just incredible.

Really feel for SA and their fans, though. I hope their turn will come.

Many congrats to the NZ Women's Team, still not sure how they did it after that run in. Must've been sixth favourites at best at the start of the tournament, but that win over India clearly gave them confidence and after that they showed how you win on these pitches. Whilst others let themselves down, NZ put on a clinic of bowling and fielding (a massive issue for some) and in Kerr had by far and away the player of the tournament.

SA didn't choke (they could certainly bowl better, 10 wides and 3 nb's didn't help their cause), but they were just beaten by a better team who had worked out through the tournament how best to play the conditions.

Yeah Melie is something else. She'll be the best all-rounder in the world soon at the rate she's going. Already not far off it.

I'm not sure where you even start that discussion, World Cricket is not short of all rounders. The Aussies almost have too many, as none really seem to get to show their full abilities as a result. Sutherland might just be the best of the lot, but she's having to bat at 8 or 9!! NSB is probably the best batter, but her bowling is not as potent as others. Kapp might be the opposite of that.

But no doubt for the last 2 weeks, the answer was Kerr.
