Ah ffs. Again, feels harsh to criticise someone who's batted this well...but two balls before lunch? Really?
Agree absolutely no need for that. Particularly when Southee was swinging at everything. Ego shot. Too happy to have got to a hundred. Should have looked to get a big hundred and only gone for it if we had only one wicket in hand.

What will Southee and Bracewell be thinking after their last bowling effort? Southee will still cope but can Bracewell? I really think they'll come hard at Bracewell this time. Most likely England will attack him from ball 1 to make it harder for Kane to keep him on.

Literally the only bloke who’s stopped this being three innings defeats. Cut him some slack ffs

Still all his runs counts for the team. Kane wouldn't have done that. Pretty sure Mitchell will be thinking the same

Pretty sure Larsen and Gary will be praying for a good haul for Bracewell. If not, boy there's going to be some scrutiny of their picks.
