Pathetic on this wicket. If England had batted first they'd be 250/4 by now.

What an abysmal tour by NZ. Bad signs in the NZ summer, now genuine concerns.

I like that Stokes has confidence in Leach but Blundell and Mitchell have rarely been troubled by him. Would rather he or Overton came on.

Mitchell is a ****ing monster. Can't wait to see how management make him worse in 12-24 months.

Blundell contributing again too. Credit to him, had a couple of guys coming hard for his spot and he has already played some excellent innings this tour and against SA.

Yeah just as well Mitchell is in the form of his life, the top order has served up a dog’s breakfast all tour. Been a real asset to the side in a mostly frustrating last 7-8 months.

Solid from Blundell, he was looking a bit of a liability around the time of the Bangladesh series but his efforts since then have mostly made up for Watling’s retirement.

4:45am here, freezing cold, and another top order failure. I see Mitchell is averaging over 140 for the series which isn't too shabby.
