this was a much needed wicket for india.....

with a new batsman in they can dry up the runs for an extended period and see that RRR climb up.

The pitch will get slower in the meanwhile and chasing will get tougher

Yes he was batting nicely.to be fair any left hander playing a cover drive well looks elegant..shame I am neither

Rayudu has been such a dud. Mot overhyped reserve player from India. Eight games and a strike rate of 63. Also a poor choice for a part-timer.

EDIT: Is anybody watching the game on DD? Their ad breaks are notoriously intrusive.

Now Ashwin gets the second for India. Catches Perera in a tight spot with one that got an edge, and he's out caught behind. He's got his hundred wickets in ODIs. A little too late, but this should help him get back in wicket-taking form.

Yeah and not too young either for it to be okay. Pujara should play especially without MSD in the XI. And Binny too. Would give Kedhar Jadhav and Suryakumar Yadav a go instead of those two embarrassments.

Ashwin had a wicket and has 2 overs left. I don't think it would have hurt to have given him 1 more over to try and get another breakthrough
