The same Adam Blair who played in last years tri nations?

Yes.

He is injured
Apologies, haven't been watching much of the NRL which is a shame. Wasn't sure whether he was available or not.

NZ could also pick Greg Eastwood, Tony Puletua, Jeremy Smith (Melb) and Jake Webster...

What's happened with Joe Galuvao? Is he any chance of playing first grade this year or what is the story?

playing premier league for Souths, id imagine he'll get a chance at some stage with injuries and form to the current pack...

He's in Premier League for Souths. Basically, he played one good season of football in his whole career, then lived off that for the following three years. He was ordinary is 2004, poor in 2005 and 2006, and the penny has finally dropped in regards to fact that he quite clearly should not be in first grade anymore.

Not bad, but I highly doubt Tate will be there. They'll probably play Inglis on the wing and Jamie Lyon in the centres.

its pretty much the same team as the tri nations final just changed:
King > Gasnier
Maitua > O'Donnell
Bailey > O'Meley
Hoffman > Tupou

Doubt Whatuira will play wing. More chance of someone like Kenny-Dowell getting a game there - NZ are never scared to pick players with bugger all experience, and Whatuira is by no means a winger. Harrison has been used as a prop for the Tigers this year so he'd be your third prop - and the likes Pritchard and Fa'alogo have played there in the past.

I reckon Fien (who is now legitimately eligible after the farce last year) or Hohaia would grab the hooker role over Seu Seu - purely on the basis that Seu Seu can't seem to play 20 minutes without getting knocked out!

Also Soliola's form has been terrible, they'd be better off picking Vagana...

Galavoa has been poor for a few years now although its good to have him hungry for a return to firsts.

this year we have faalogo, kidwell, sutton, widders, and Luke Stuart ahead of him deservedly

yeh but given his form if he was asked to play i think he would...
Then why would he have retired? It's not like he retired because he was playing badly, or because there was pressure on him to do so - he retired because he didn't want to do it anymore. I doubt he'd play even if asked.

As well as Rigon who has been playing hooker for some reason, but is a good lock/second rower.
