Aus may have bowled well, but this batting effort is almost entirely down to the fact that Indian batters are not able to bat time. Rather than being able to absorb pressure and be comfortable not scoring, they look to score runs, and make mistakes in the process.

Oh yeah, McJerk is genuinely terrible by any internationl standard. Hasn't shown any sort of inclination he's up to making decent runs. By all reports he's completely full of himself too, which makes it worse that they've picked him

Not surprised he's up himself, and not altogether his fault...when you have as much smoke blown up your arse as he has, it's hard not to be. Being arrogant is fun. Its the fault of people who have built him up despite his lack of anything of substance.

You've probably seen it with Burge junior, the way these young kids are lavished with superlatives for very little is off the charts nowadays.

If Sir Ed Hillary was a teen now, he'd never climb Everest. He'd be too busy living off the adulation of climbing the local hill in a slight breeze

The speed at which he picks up length is borderline unparalleled. Even the way he defends, he doesn't seem like he's doing it comfortably at all but he seems to have so much time that his bat looks like a door.

Yeah, the noticeable thing is that even though his body position is often miles from textbook when he defends he consistently gets it right in the centre.
