I don't think Ashwin would do a lot in these conditions with the bat but I'm extremely surprised they've dropped him purely on his bowling, the bloke's spent three series learning how to bowl in Aus conditions; you don't just throw that away on a whim

This new Low T group of Aussie Gen Z men don't have the guts to make racist remarks anymore. It's honestly kind of eerie, I don't even believe I'm in Australia anymore.

I do think Snicko is an excellent piece of technology but there is a certain lack of transparency regarding how it works - compared to, say, Hawkeye, which has been scrutinised to the moon and back - that really does need to be addressed at some point. It is abundantly clear to me, as it should be to anyone with any knowledge of signals processing, that a lot of filtering and assorted DSP is going on and we really should be told exactly what - just how "sanitised" is the waveform we (and more to the point, the umpire) sees on screen compared to what the microphone actually hears? How much information is being thrown away and what determines what is kept and amplified vs what is filtered out?
